Welcome. We’re celebrating the birth of the greatest nation in the world, along with some timeless American style.

I’ve compiled a list of a few brands which I gravitate towards due to their inherently American aesthetic. If this is of interest to you, I encourage you to read on and subscribe.

I’ve divided the attire into a few sections below. The first being “On the Course” for attire as you play. The second is “The Clubhouse” for when you may have more formal events to attend. The third is “The Cookout” for any less formal events, and the last is “The Finishing Touches” for the peripheral style additions.

Holderness & Bourne. Their cotton polos are the best of both worlds, providing natural comfort and the structure of a proper collar.

Peter Millar. The Crown Crafted line is a safe play with PM. A tried and true staple in the golf apparel world, it’s impossible to walk into a proper shop and not see the crown staring back at you.

B. Draddy. The long-sleeve Draddy polo with the American Flag will never go out of style.

FootJoy. The Packards have been my go-to shoe for quite some time. The commemorative pair for 250 makes a nice addition to the shoe rota.

Del Campo Socks. The 1776 sock has been in my top drawer for a few years now.

Arnie McNair. 100% cotton, and priced well for the quality. The clothes are made in America by factories which have largely been left to die out. Worth supporting.

J. Press. Nothing beats traditional New England Prep.

Paul Stuart. Rooted deeply in American traditions, Paul Stuart continues to produce timeless pieces that can be worn to any club in the world.

To Boot New York. The best Italian driving loafer on the market, for my money.

Alden. If you’re looking for Made-in-America dress shoes, look no further.

J. Crew. My go-to for summer linen. Best quality for the price.

Bills Khakis. Pricey, yes, but you’ll own them for the rest of your life.

Sid Mashburn. Best quality of “starter” suits and tuxedos. If you have a summer wedding on the calendar, it’s a good place to start.
